A human/vampire hybrid, Blade is gifted with a vampire's inhuman strength and resistance to injury but is cursed with an overwhelming need for blood. Called "Daywalker" by the vampires he hunts, Blade is opposed by the vampire leader Deacon Frost who has a mysterious connection to the vampire hunter. Though Blade is continually looking for a cure for his "condition," he is committed to his mission: All Vampires Must Die!
