Welcome to the site!
A definitive guide to all Toybiz Marvel figures from the "Pre-Marvel Legends" era.
What is "Legacy Scale"?
From approximately 1991 to 1996, Toybiz corned the market on Marvel action figures. Almost all figures during this period were fairly limited in articulation and created at a 5-inch scale. While some short series entertained a 6-inch scale, even these lines continued the limited articulation. With the onset of X-Men Classics and Spider-Man Classics, Toybiz transitioned to a 6-inch scale and experimented with increased articulation. This site focuses on the 5-inch scale, but includes some of the limited articulated 6-inch lines as well. Oh, and 1996 didn't see the end of "Legacy Scale" figures! Some continued many years after but are so limited that many collector's don't realize they even exist!
There are already Toybiz collector websites. Why make another?
Some of them are very good but nothing covers all of the variations that are actually out there. Many collectors think they do, but that's my point. There is much more out there than many collectors know!

Why does this site only show loose figures and not their packages?
Well, packaged toys just isn't my thing. I open. For those looking for a website of comprehensive packaging, well, this isn't it. However, every one of these toys was purchased as a sealed to to guarantee the accuracy of the catalogue, I just didn't complicate my cataloguing with photos of the packaging.

Did you create this site and collection by yourself?
Sort of. I did buy them all, open them, and photo them. Nothing fancy, just me and my cell phone. But I utilized several sites and people, so there are thanks to give! Thanks to Diego Zuñiga Urmeneta and Brian Peregrina for their X-Men and Spider-Man expertise. I'd also like to give a shout out to the following, who without knowing, assisted quite a bit at putting the database together:
