In 1941, scrawny Steve Rogers volunteered for an experiment which made him Captain America. The Super Soldier serum may have created his body, but it was his rigorous training, indomitable spirit, mastery of numerous fighting techniques that made America's Super Soldier a force for freedom for over 50 years. Even when the serum wore off, Cap kept up the fight, weaker but a s mush [sic.] as a star-spangled hero as ever.
