When the evil Apocalypse learns that the Mandarin is using the timestream in order to take over the world, he manipulates the world's greatest super heroes to stop him. Tricking Iron Man and Wolverine as well as the mysterious Ghost Rider into attacking the Mandarin, the heroes stop his master plan. But when the heroes realize they have been controlled by the villainous Apocalypse, they make a vow to defeat him too, whatever it takes!
